Expert Q & A Answers About water-based lubricant
I’m a 30-year-old female who had my first baby a few months ago by C-section. Before the birth, I was able to achieve orgasms, but now I can’t...and sex is painful. Could the C-section have caused this? My vagina, especially the opening, feels inflamed and burns. I’ve been diagnosed and treated twice now with a non-specific bacterial vaginal infection, and I’m starting to show signs of infection again. I’m getting really discouraged about enjoying sex like I used to before the baby. Any advice?
K-Y Liquid makes me and my husband feel a burning sensation. Do we need to use a different lubricant?
My husband and I were both virgins when we married last week. We’ve been enjoying great sex, but decided that - for the extended efforts of newlyweds - we needed extra lubrication. We chose K-Y Liquid. It worked well until last night. As soon as my husband inserted his penis, it was like we both were on fire. We ran for the shower. Once rinsed we felt better, but we are hesitant to try again. Please help!
If I had sex with my girlfriend, and neither of us has a sexually transmitted disease (STD), can an STD form on its own? Also, I’ve had unprotected sex with my girlfriend using baby oil, and now I have little pimples or blisters on the bottom of my head of my penis. Could that be from the baby oil? Or could it be something else?
Does flavored lubricant weaken condoms? The lubricant I bought is water-based and contains sugar...will it make the condoms less effective in protecting against pregnancy? Also, could the sugar in the lubricant cause an infection for my girlfriend? Thanks for your help and advice.
