How effective is the withdrawal method?

My boyfriend and I have been having sex without a condom most of the time we have sex. We used a condom twice, but for the other 13 times, he just pulls out before he cums. It has been a couple weeks after my last period...so is there a chance that I could be pregnant? How would I know?
