Expert Q & A Answers About male yeast infection

I’ve noticed some red marks on the end of my penis. They dry up and become scabby after a while...what could they be?

I’ve been having unprotected sex with an ex-girlfriend. Since then, I have developed red marks on the end of my penis which dry up and become scabby after a while. They have been there for a month now, and I show no sign of breaking out of the spot-scab-spot cycle. Recently, one also appeared on my scrotum. I also have experienced severe itching and an intense, prickly rash. This began on my penis (it felt sort of 'inside') but has since spread to cover various areas of my whole body...small, hardly visible dots on my hands, arms, buttocks, etc. My ex had contact with another man who apparently had the same itchiness. Any idea what I might have? Are the two things (the blistering and the rash) related? Please help!

I’m a virgin...could I have herpes?

I think I have genital herpes...I have a rash on my legs, and sometimes on the head of my penis. I am not married yet and I never had any kind of intercourse, oral sex or genital rubbing...so I don’t know how I got these symptoms. I shower daily, and I’m neat and clean. But I live in a hot and sweaty climate, and my legs get really sweaty during the summer. Could that be the cause?

I don’t have signs of an STD, but my boyfriend just noticed a little red bump on his penis...what could this be?

This little red bump has appeared on my boyfriend’s penis, and it’s been causing him tremendous pain. We have been having sex for the past five months ⎼ he was a virgin and I’d only had sex with one other person before him. I have had no signs of an STD at all. Do you know what this could be?

Could this rash on my penis be a yeast infection? Can men get yeast infections?

I have cracked skin on the tip of my foreskin. It’s not painful, itchy or sore and it feels just like the other skin around it. The only difference is that its "blemished" color makes it stand out. I have had unprotected sex once (due to a condom break), but I have had this blemish ever since I can remember - even before I became sexually active. Occasionally, when I masturbate too much it will get red and irritated, and the dead skin may scab. I got checked for STDs at a clinic twice, and it wasn't diagnosed as anything...and from what I gather online, what I have is similar to a yeast rash. I thought it was more common for girls to get yeast infections. What’s your advice?
