Early detection test

Hi, I just had the early detection test and I do not know the results yet but I have read that PCR tests produce false positives which clearly would lead to anxiety. How common are these false positives? I have found some websites that say it is over exaggerated and mostly happens with infants. Are there any pager diseases that could make this test falsely positive? Thank you
