I have heard that woman should lie straight on her back for an hour or so after having sexual intercourse in order maximize chances of getting her pregnant. Is it true? If so, how much time?

Although what you say sounds logical, there is no statistics to prove that lying down straight after intercourse increases the woman's chances to become pregnant.
