Question:
My problem is that I can't orgasm. I'm 19 years old and have been sexually active for what's going on two years now. I never masturbated and never could have pleasure from self-masturbation. My boyfriend has tried to give me an orgasm, but I get really close and start to shake very badly and then it just starts to hurt A LOT to even the slightest touch and I'm no longer sexually aroused for a few weeks following this. What could be wrong w/ me? I've been on birth control for almost a month and it's making me more sexually aroused, but I still can't get off. I've tried using a vibrator and the other night I tried self-masturbation for the first time in over 2 years and enjoyed it, up until I got the shakes, same thing as with the vibrator. What could be wrong with me??

First of all, it's not unusual for a woman to have not experienced orgasm at age 19. The best way to experience an orgasm with a partner is to first experience one with yourself. My favorite books to help you do this are "Our bodies, Ourselves" or "The Big O" available at most book stores. You need to be patient with yourself and try diffrent approaches, including a gentle vibrator to the clitoral area (not necessarily inside of you). The leg shaking thing probably menas that you're getting close. Just keep trying and above all, remember, there is nothing wrong with you.
