Question:
One time after I had sex, I got this really bad cramping. It wasn't like mentral cramps, but my vagina muscle. Like it is flexing constantly. I also felt sick to my stomach. I was worried because I never felt this before, and when I described it to my boyfriend he said it sounds like when a guy has "blue balls". The cramping didn't go away for almost 8 hours. I don't have any itching, or any other problems just the cramping, and it hurts really bad. It always starts up again if I have sex or do anything that gets me sexually excited. I haven't heard of a girl getting anything like this before and don't know what I should do. Do you know what this is or what I could should do about it.

Yeah, the symptoms closely resemble the female equivalent of men's blue balls. The aching and pain in vagina and pelvis arises because of prolonged sexual stimulation without orgasm. In normal course, the sexual tension and the vasocongestion (accumulation of blood in the pelvic organs and genitals) resulting from sexual excitement abates quickly after orgasm. But when there is no orgasm the result is this vaginal cramping - in some women, and sometimes. The solution lies in reaching orgasm.
