ACtually, your question is a very common one from women, and your clitoral sensitivity is not at all unusual. Many women find that touching the clitoris directly hurts - a lot. That is why many are stimulated with their clothes on, with a towel or other cloth over the clitoris as well.
Vaginal stimulation is also important for some rather than clitoral. You don't need to worry about your boyfriend hurting you if you will talk with him about how to stimulate you best. Vaginal stimulation can be just as pleasurable, and for some the only way to reach orgasm. There is no need to use clitoral stimulation if it even hurts a little.
It may hurt on you because you have many nerve endings on the surface of the clitoris. If you still want to try clitoral stimulation then be sure to cover the clitoris well, so there is never any direct stimulation. Women do this all the time so you aren't abnormal at all!
