Question:
though my boyfriend and I have both been w/ other people and have been intimate for nearly a year, we recently had an experience that felt like the first time all over again. I even experienced bleeding afterwards. What happened?

Wow - good quesiton. I have no idea.. the bleeding could be from lack of lubrication - but only you may be able to tell if that was the case. I am not sure what you mean when you say "it was like the first time all over again" - I hope you were implying something positive....
