Question:
Recently, I watched a program on TV -The Early Show- and there was a discussion about something that you could take to increase your sexual desire. I did not catch the whole conversation, but one of the things that was said is that you could not abuse the medication. The site was cbs.com - I was wondering if you knew anything about this?

I am sorry, but I do not know which product they may have talked about on that TV show. You told me that you are a female in your thirties and that you have been celibate for 5 years and now are thinking about entering a new relationship. Usually your desire seems to subside after you have been in a relationship for a while. You are reading self-help books on how to improve your sex life. I think you are doing the right thing. Be sure to search our website for as much information as you can. Some of our Q&A’s have links to great books as well.
One way to keep your desire up is to make sure that you get what YOU want from your sexual relationship and that it is mutually fulfilling. Part of it is chemistry, and you may just get lucky this time!
Good luck,
