Question:
Is it true that you can "de-sensitise" your clit by masturbating too much?

Answer:
by Logan Levkoff:
()
Thank you for submitting your question. Remember that not every sexual experience or sexual arousal is identical. There are times when you may feel more or less stimulation. However, the clitoris is made up of very sensitive nerve endings. Those nerve endings will not disappear from masturbation. If you think that frequent masturbation is affecting clitoral stimulation, experiment with different times and frequencies. Hope this information helps. Editors note: Since the clitoris is packed with so many nerve endings, it is capable of very intense levels of stimulation. Clitoris's can become over-stimulated and too sensitive. When pushed over the edge of sensation, sometimes the clitoris can feel like it 'went dead'. Females usually experience this as though the sensation somehow disappeared. Things were feeling good and then, all of a sudden, the sensation is gone. Usuallly this just means that you need to back off of the stimulation and give your clitoris a few seconds or minutes to get re-sensitized. As Logan Levkoff said above, just vary the stimulation (timing, rhythym, pressure) and you will likely find the sensation returns and feels even more pleasurable. Patricia Fawver
