I am 15 and I think I am too horny. I am a christian and I read my bible daily. But I have been searching for scriptures about masturbating. And I masturbate and I just wonder if it's a sin. It feels good when I am doing it then afterwards I feel kinda Bad. But I don't wanna have sex until I am married. What should I do?

It is really very normal to feel horny at your age. Puberty and adolescence is all about developing sexual maturity and what that means is the hormones and feelings that are supposed to trigger sexual responses are developing. Masturbation is a wonderful way to relieve that sexual tension and to keep yourself a virgin until you feel ready to engage in sexual intercourse. You are not going to find anything in the Bible about masturbation as a female because there is nothing there. The Bible doesn't really refer to any self-pleasuring related to females. What it does refer to in men, there is much debate about. There are passages that some scholars have interpreted that suggest men should not masturbate, yet those passages are more about "wasting" the seed. That was about the population at the time and the various groups felt that in order to survive they needed to have all sperm be used to procreate to build up the numbers of people in order for them to survive. It really wasn't about self pleasuring. I hope you continue to feel that you are normal as sexual feelings are all a part of growing up.
