Question:
Hi, i'm 23 years old and have been sexually active since i was 16 (i have ony had 3 partners). Sometimes whilst during intercourse and sometimes after intercourse i get a very painful cramp like thing in my stomach. It hurts so much i have to sit on the toilet for sometimes up to 15-30 minutes. It doesn't happen every time and it has only started happening in the past 1.5yrs and only with my current partner. Do you know what this could be?

Ok Darlin-
It sounds as though your cervix, which is the end of the vagina, is being pounded by the object being inserted in. Many women find much discomfort and pain when their cervix is hit and it is definetly possible to bruise a cervix, which is not recommended. I say all this because the symptoms you are describing fit into a cervix being hit, but most importantly, that it doesn't happen every time.
So, I suggest that you have a little chat with your partner and suggest you two take place in an experiment. And the experiment would be, you being on top of your partner and controlling how deep that person goes into your vagina by moving up and down. Do not allow the person to thrust into you, you control how deep or shallow it goes. If it doesn't hurt in this position, the culprit to the crime is most likely what I wrote about above. Then, it's time for you to have a little chat with your significant other. Tell them that they are using too much force and going into your body too far and this is the culprit for the pain. (You can make it sound nicer so they don't feel like you are attacking their lovemaking skills). You will have to communicate to your partner if they are causing you pain, IN THE MOMENT. Do not suck it up and deal with it when it happens as it will not teach them how deep is too deep and they will continue doing it.
If it continues, and the pain doesn't go away if you are on top, it's time to see a doctor. In fact, due to the fact that you have been having sex for 3 years and you haven't had a pap smear, it is absolutly necessary for you to go to a doctor and get everything checked out. Sometimes women can have a severe infection in their body that could cause infertility. One does not want that, now do they? Of course not. So, pretend your a cowgirl riding the pony and after that go see a doctor.
Happy Riding!
