Question:
Although I have normal sizr areolas, I have noticed lately that my nipples do not protrude at all. My friends all tell me that they envy me because I don't "nip" through any of my shirts, but I am very insecure about it when I am with my boyfriend. Even when I am cold or aroused, my nipples never become erect. Do I have inverted nipples, and if I do, is there anything I can do about it?

Dear Madam Thank you for your question. Yes, you probably have inverted nipples. Especially so that they date since you remember and that this is on both sides. This is a natural occurence and there is nothing wrong with it. But then again, you are concerned about how you look. OK. yOu ca start by a 'simple pulling them out' technique. Several times a day everyday. If this does not get a result, or if they are totally flat, try getting a test tube, a glass one10-15 cm long. Hold it over the flame of a lighter or candle for 10-15 seconds. The tube lies 45 drgrees tilted, mouth up. The flame if from the bottom. TAKE CARE NOT TO BURN YOUR FINGERS !!! This pushes the hot air out of the tube. Now put the mouth of the tube over your nipple. This will create a negative pressure that will pull the nipple erect. Again you will have to do this several times a day for a some time until you get a the desired effect. You may also resolve to surgery, permenant effect fast, but will cost and may be some physical pain.
