Question:
My concern is my boyfriend has red lines, some time they are dry and chaffy, an some times look very red an shiny. He says sometimes they are sore, and intercourse is irritating. He also says that he gets them from masturbating, do you have any idea what causes these. they go around the penis just below the head. I believe it is from sex with different partners, I may be wrong, but when asking him to go check it out he refuses.

He needs to get himself examined by a doctor. It could be a fungal infection (yeast) or some other infection. He may also have to get his blood sugar checked. It could also be smegma and he needs to be more hygenic. But visiting a doctor is a must!
