Question:
I am a 16 year old gyrl and I jus had sex for the first time on Monday...and we didn't have a condom. He pulled out early or whatever...and I started to get my period that night...but is there any chance that I could be pregnant anyways?

Good question. Although it is possible that you could get pregnant from that one act of intercourse, it isn't every likely. If he pulled out before ejaculating inside of your vagina, and if you actually got a period (sometimes first intercourse can have bleeding that we think is our period) then it is not likely at all to cause a pregnancy.

I am very glad that you realize that you need to use something. Having unprotected intercourse can be problematic to you, if you don't want a pregnancy or disease.

I hope that since you have begun to have intercourse that you be very commited to never engaging in intercourse again unless you are well protected. That may mean that if you are going to have intercourse on a more regular basis, that you have a combination method - latex condoms and one of the hormonal methods such as the Pill. Then you won't have to worry every month wondering if you have become pregnant.
