Question:
I am 22 yr old female college student. I Have had 14 parts and 3 of them were not with condoms. I had an STD in 99 but nothing since then. I also get yearly exams and no problems And I haven't had sex in over a year I am worried that I might have AIDS I almost crazy thinking about it but I'm scared to get tested. What should I do?

Getting tested is a good idea. It would certainly give you some piece of mind. There is a very small chance that you have type of STD but it is worth the time and effort to get tested just to find out for sure. Maybe going for testing with a close friend might give you the support that would make it possible. Talk to your close friends, get some suport and ask a friend to go with you for the testing. It is scary but worth the anxiousness. You probably can do this right on campus at the health center and it is something they probably have a lot of experience with. Chances are that the people at the health center will give you a lot of re-assurance and emotional support as well. Good luck.
