Unprotected oral sex (mouth to vagina) can transmit HIV infection, though the risk is low, compared to intravaginal or anal penetrative sex. The chances of transmission through oral-vaginal sex increase if you have had ulcers or cuts in the mouth/throat or bleeding gums at that time. Other STDs like gonorrhea, herpes etc. can also be transmitted through oral-genital sex. The allergic reactions and fever you have does not tell us anything about your HIV status until you get tested. Your chances of contracting HIV appear to be low but you must get tested to make it certain that you did not get it. Please don’t make the mistake of making your own diagnosis and treatment. Do consult a HIV consultant / venereologist (STD specialist) / dermatologist (skin specialist) and get a HIV test done after pre-test counseling. The longer you spiral down in fear and anxiety without taking tests, the worse for you. A test would either relieve you of your fears in case of a negative result or will prepare you for taking care of yourself in the case of a positive result.
