Question:
Can I get Aids from having Oral sex with another woman and how can I prevent it?

Answer:

Though the risk of getting HIV, the virus that causes AIDS, from performing oral sex on a woman is low, it is still possible. If you have any cuts or sores on or around your mouth that come in contact with infected vaginal fluid, HIV may be transmitted. You can protect yourself by using a dental dam when performing oral sex. A dental dam is a latex barrier, placed over the female's genitals, that allows you to perform oral sex on her worry-free. Thank you for visiting the Sexual Health Network. Yvonne K. Fulbright, MS.Ed.
