Question:
My boyfriend and I have been together for a several years, and we have been having sex for the past 5 months, he was a virgin, and I had sex 1 time before being with him. I have had no signs of an STD at all. And this little red bump has appeared on his penis out of nowhere, and it has been causing him tremendious pain, I squeezed it a little, and some sort of puss came out. It also has some redness around it. Do you know what this could be? Thanks for your time!

Ok Darling-he needs to go to a doctor with this sore on him as it needs to be checked out. It sounds to me like a herpes sore, which he could have contracted from you, even if you never had an outbreak. If one has herpes, they can go on medication to reduce outbreaks cause they do "hurt like a bitch" and herpes is extremely contagious, even if the sores aren't present. So, I'm sorry I couldn't be the bearer of better news...but he does need to get things checked out, because it might not be herpes and rather something else. You can't get tested to see if you have herpes unless you yourself develop a sore so get him in as soon as possible and don't squeeze it anymore. Leave it be. Good luck and thanks for writing in!
