Question:
I am 16 years old, and I have a question about how much semen a male my age is supposed to produce when ejaculating, and what it is supposed to look like. I have heard it is supposed to be a milky white color, as mine is more of a clear yellowish, and more in a fluid state than I think it should be. I am also experiencing very premature ejaculation (15-30 seconds) when masterbating, and 45-60 seconds usually for intercoarse using a condom with no other stimulations prior.

Thanks for writing in with your concerns. As far as your first question, semen ranges in color from opalescent or milky white to yellowish or grayish tones upon ejaculation, but it becomes clearer as it liquifies. It is a combination of fluid secretions primarily from the prostate and seminal vesicles. Immediately after ejaculation, semen is somewhat thick and sticky due to clotting factors in the fluid. This consistency keeps the semen together initially. The semen then becomes liquified, allowing the sperm to swim out. I would guess that by the time you look at your semen, it has already liquified.
As far as your rapid ejaculation, I would agree to talk with your doctor about it but I doubt that it is due to anything physical. Rapid ejaculation for young men is quite common and, with a bit of practice, is easily remedied. You may want to check out the section on the website titled "Men's Sexual Health." In it, there is a section on rapid ejaculation. You may also want to practice prolonging your ejaculation by consciously masturbating. This is a good way to learn to pay attention to the feelings and sensations building up to orgasm and as you come closer, stop and let it subside. This is referred to as the start-stop technique. For most men, there is first the feeling they are going to ejaculate, then they do. The more you're able to recognize the building sensations and allow yourself to prolong the time before ejaculation while pleasuring yourself, the easier it will be to prolong ejaculation during intercourse with a partner.
I hope this addressed your concerns adequately. Please feel free to write in for any additional information you may want.
Take care and be well.
