Question:
I have been in a serious relationship for 8 years now. I am very much in love with my partner but just recently my sex drive has taken a nose dive since my partner told me that making love with me has it's limitations and it is not the same as with a woman that does not have the limitations I have. Needless to say I am very hurt and can't seem to bring myself to talk about this with him. I am somewhat limited in my movements but can walk and do most things on my own. I am limited in the sexual positions since I can't carry his weight and my legs can not accomodate him for the missionary position. I would like to know how do I get back my sexual confidence and what kinds of things could I do to make love making more enjoyable for my parnet. I have a form of muscular dystrophy which means that I am not flexible and my muscles are weak. Thank you, this was hard to express. B.

Dear Madam. Human sexuality is a unique natural phenomenon. It does not depend on seasonal chnages in weather, not 'primarily' focused on child bearing, and has, nealry no limitation to its posibilities. Again, the mental state is plays a very large role. Think positvely. DO not ever look at any weakness point. Look at the positive aspects. Be creative, use your imagination. He may be thinking of a position tat you cannot do, think of new ones that you CAN do. Try to take the lead. This will stimulate him, and will gain your self confidence, when you are the initiator.
