Dr Birch, My Problem is regarding oral sex with my boyfriend. He is unable to come to orgasim through oral sex. He has never recieved oral sex from any of his previous sex partners before me. He says that there just isn't enough friction. We have been trying for 11 months with no success. Any suggestions????

It is not uncommon for a man to be unable to ejaculate with fellatio, but have no problem during intercourse. It is a different stimulation and, for some men, feels great but does not provide the friction necessary for orgasm. There are a couple things you can try. Circle the base of his erection with your thumb and forefinger and as you slide your mouth up and down, follow your oral movements with this tight circle. The other thing you can do is circle his erection with your fingers and have him thrust through them into your mouth. Another thing that might help... have him stand and tense his body. A man on his back might be too relaxed. Do not take this personally! It is just one of those sexual variations among people.
