Question:
I have a boyfriend and when he comes (during intercorse or oral) his semen smells. Its not just an unpleasent ouder, it is a truly very strong and disguasting smell. He also gets lots of little white solid roundy things coming out from his penis during sex (he calls them pre - come). I had a few boyfriends before but none of them had either strong smell or "pre - comes". Is it normal? He won't go to the doctor! Thanks

People, male and female, have their own unique body chemistry and will have their own individual aroma and taste. I could write this off as just this man's natural flavor, but I understand how it can be a problem. On the off chance it could signal an infection, he should certainly consult a physician. There are plenty of old wive's tales about foods to avoid, but I do not know of any scientific research that proves that what we eat effects how we taste! As for the pre-ejaculate, that is Cowper's Gland fluid and is quite common during male arousal. It is, however, typically clear and sticky... not "roundy" as you described. Semen often can be a bit lumpy, but that pre-ejacuate usual is not. Again it could be an individual difference or signal an infection. It should be checked. If you do not want to accept his ejaculate into your mouth, put a dry condom on him during fellatio. Adding a little lubrication INSIDE the condom will add to his sensual experience.
