Ask a Question
Question:
I am a male C5 quad, and I like to perform oral sex on my female partner. She enjoys this, but after prolonged
stimulation of her clitoris, she says it gets numb and orgasm is harder to reach. She wants me to stimulate her anus to
give her clitoris a rest. Is this harmful? Is it pleasurable for women? It seems a rather nasty spot to be, although it is
only inches from her vagina.

It is generally safe to stimulate your partner¹s anus, although some precautions are in order. Practice safe sex! Use a dental
dam or a cut-up latex glove as a barrier to block viruses and bacteria. To use a latex glove, simply cut off all the fingers of
the glove, then cut along the side. The glove will open into a rectangular shape. Water-based lubricants can be used with the
dental dam or glove to increase pleasure.
The anus is richly endowed with nerve endings, so yes, stimulation can be very pleasurable. Many women (and men) find it as
arousing as genital stimulation. There are a variety of anal toys available that are fun and safe to use. One good source for
safer sex supplies, lubricants and anal toys is Good Vibrations. Confidentiality is guaranteed, and they offer expert advice on
products of particular interest and relevance to men with erectile difficulties and people with disabilities.
