Question:
Hi,

I am a virgin, as is my fiancee. We are both disease free, and drug free, as well as monogamous. What are the risks (if any) of anal rimming for a couple like us? Can someone get a throat infection or a communicable disease from this, even if we are clean and pure?

Thanks.

In practicing rimming, a.k.a., "analingus", you need to be concerned namely about hepatitis B and E-coli infections. A safer sex strategy you can use is to place a dental dam or a sheet of non-microwavable Saran Wrap, with lubrication on the side touching the buttocks, over the anal area. Thank you for visiting the Sexual Health Network.
