Question:
While I had first sexual intercourse I didn't bleed so my husband doesn't trust on me. Is there any particular reason or is it something unusual?

Since many people assume that all virgins bleed during sexual intercourse, it can be very distressful to a couple when the female does not bleed during her first sexual intercourse experience. Know that not all virgins bleed during first-time sexual intercourse, namely because not all virgins still have intact hymens. The hymen is a membrane that stretches across the vaginal opening that can be broken or torn during any number of activities: sexual penetration, tampon use, athletic activity. Plus, some women are born without any hymen whatsoever, thus don't have a hymen to be broken! The absence of a hymen and/or bleeding during first-time sex is no indication as to a female's prior sexual experience.
