Question:
Well, actually I have a question about education. I want to study to become a sex therapist myself. I'm from New York City and I wonder what school I can go to. Please let me know.

Thanks for writing in and sharing your interest. We'd be delighted to welcome you into the field! There are a number of programs around the country and in Canada, as well as in other parts of the world. However, you didn't state whether you're looking for undergraduate or graduate programs, or if you want to stay in NYC or go elsewhere. In NY, there are master's and doctoral programs available at NYU and a master's program at Hofstra University. There is also both a master's and doctoral program at Widener University in PA. There are several other programs across the country, including the Institute for the Advanced Study of Sexuality in San Francisco. Below, I'm attaching a link to the web site for the Society for the Scientific Study of Sexuality on which there is a listing, with descriptions, of the programs out there.

Please let me know if there is any additional information I could provide you. I wish you all the best in pursuing your career and hope for much success. Take care and be well.
