Question:
My boyfriend and i have only been together for a short time, but we are very intensly in love with eachother. However, he finds it impossible to ejaculate during sex. i am his third partner and this is a repeated problem. he has no fears of getting me pregnant or anything like that, so we crossed that off. the only way he can orgasm is through a very strange method of masterbation where he lays on his stomach...and im not really sure what it is that he does. this doesnt bother me, but sometimes he will even lose his erection during sex. he thought in his previous relationship that it was due to his lack of interest in his partner, but says he is worried because that isnt the case anymore. what can i do?

i also need to add that he is only 19 years old and other than abdominal migraines he is in good health. could a childhood injury be the cause..because one was endured.

Hello, Thank you for your question.

Firstly may I point out that orgasm and ejaculation in a male are two separate processes. What I think you are asking is that your partner does not have an orgasmic experience that you (or he) considers to be the 'right one.' Seeing he can come to a satisfying orgasm using a front-on pressure procedure, you and he both know that orgasm is possible.

What I recommend is avoiding that basis for comparison and experimenting with more positions, techniques or equipment (?) with the intent of pleasure. With less anxiety, orgasm may occur of it's own accord. The psyche can have a powerful effect. Time and trial will expand the ranges of pleasurable experience/s. If the problem persists despite all this, a visit to a sex therapist may be a good idea.

Best Wishes, Melissa BEE
