Question:
Is overmasturbation a serious problem? I am a 16 year old suffering from unexplainable receeding hair and a few sites claim over masturbation can be a cause (http://www.herbolove.com/article.asp?art=62 for one) Are these sites just trying to sell something, or is their grounds behind what they say? I typically masturbate once a day, sometimes two.

Great question. The sites must be trying to sell something because there is NO relationship between losing hair and masturbation.

In your case there is no such thing as over masturbation. Masturbating one or two times a day is pretty much the norm for many men.

I suspect that your receeding hair is more related to your heredity, since it is in most men. If you look into your family you will see other man (and possibly women) who have receeding hair patterns, and they probably started when they were teens just as you are.

If you are concerned about it, make an appointment with a dermatologist and have him/her examine your hair follicles. It is possible that you are losing your hair due to a vitamin deficiency or something else, but I assure you that it is NOT because of masturbation! ANd your pattern of masturbating isn't at all OVER masturbating.
