Question:
My fiance has delayed ejaculation. We could have sexual relations for 1/2 hour and he still has to masturbate to ejaculate. He usually masturbates a good 5 minutes until he is able. I am concerned that we won't be able to have children.

Now he has always had this problem. He has never ejacualted in a woman. About 8 years ago he had a severe head injury with a chisel from a jack hammer. It pushed his nose 3 inches back into his brain. He was pronounced dead 3 times and in a coma for a month. Could there have been some neurogical (sp?) injury that is effecting his ejacualtion? He awoke from the coma with a southern accent so i am thinking he had some permanent injury. :)

Otherwise he has never been sexually abused and he has a VERY healthy sexual appetite. (He was a virgin before accident) We are both concerned. He has no health insurance so it is expensive to see a doctor. Thanks you.

Delayed ejaculation occurs in a small percentage of men and the treatment is usually long drawn and exaustive. Ideally you should visit a urologist. He may have to investigate you before he can offer any treatment. There are some medications that can be tried. It's difficult to opine whether the accident caused the problem. Having children should not be a major problem as artificial insemination using his semen can easily be done.
