Question:
I'm a 24 year old married man. My wife and I have sex a lot. Even if we don't have intercourse, we masturbate with each other. Therefore, I ejaculate very often. As of now, she is on the pill. I was wondering if excessive sexual activity that results in ejaculation 95% of the time can in any way cause problems in trying to concieve a child. In other words, can too much maturbating or intercourse lower your chances of having a child? Can all of this ejaculating lead to low sperm counts, or unhealthy sperm counts? If so, what can remedy the situation? Thanks for considering my question.

Excessive sexual activity does not affect your future fertility potential at all i.e. it does not affect the count or the quality of your sperm. When you are ready for child bearing, you may ejaculate every day, if you have a normal sperm count (>20 million/ml). On the other hand you may ejaculation every other day during the ovulation period if you have a reduced sperm count
