Question:
I used to consume large amount of marijuana since i was 18. BOut 1 1/2 ears of extreme smoking. I stopped a couple of months ago. High amounts means average 5 blunts a week to 10 blunts a week. I had one girl, that i used to have sex with. we had sex in the beginning and it was fine, but ever since i was using pot hard, i used to order viagra because i couldnt perform. When i used to consume alcohol, before i startd smoking pot, i would find sex drive at high levels. I used to masterbate before i smoked at least minimum 10 times a week. Now, i feel as if i lost all the sex drive, when i drink alcohol, and when i am not inibriated. i am not in phsical shape, dont work out, smoke cigarettes, drink once in a while; although, before i was 18, i did not smoke cigs, i worked out, and never smoked pot. I am an attractive man at the the age of 20, drive a BMW, but find mself depressed sometimes; prob from the lack of sex drive. When I have an erection, i'm not rock hard like i used to be. I stopped smoking pot, and m main concern is 1) can i get libido back? and 2) are these exercises for penis health and enlargment effective. 3) what can I DO?????? THANK U FOR URE HELP! I AM CONCERNED A LOT ABOUT THIS.

Jack, You will be happy to know that yours actually is a common experience for those who smoke marijuana heavily during the teenage years, AND with time your sexual drive will return. Marijuana is known to stay impacting the body for long periods of time and it may take several months to years for you to probably return to a level of sexual arousal that you will be happy with. You also have to consider that as you get older the amount of testosterone that you produced during puberty and as you move to adulthood will continue to fluctuate, so that the hardness and amount of drive that you used to have as a young teen may not return exactly to that level. This isn't because of any drug use but just the result of your body maturing. Men having varying levels of sex drive throughout their adult life. The more you worry about it, the more likely it is to occur. YOu may want to make an appointment with a sex therapist who works with males who want to increase their sex drive. If you go to another expert on this site who is a male sex therapist and ask the question you asked me you may get even more suggetions. I assure you, you can get a higher sex drive than you describe having now. Sometimes the stress of adulthood and the use of alcohol can continue to impact on your mental and sexual health. This happens to many men, so you are not alone.
