Question:
For about two months, I have been experiencing a short-lived pain (almost like an electric shock at times, and at others a feeling of discomfort) that is located slightly to the left of, and a bit lower than my navel. This pain/discomfort is felt at the end of orgasm/ejaculation. What might be the cause? My thought is that it might be something to do with the vas deferens. I would appreciate your response.

Pain in this area can be triggered by a variety of factors including muscular pains, referred pains from the urogenital tract, gastrointestinal tract, neuropathies or even stress (referred to as psychosomatic pains). Pain at the end of ejaculation doesn’t necessarily originate from the genital tract since many systems are involved in the sexual response cycle. I suggest you visit a urologist to exclude physical disorders.
