Question:
I have a problem. I hope this gets answered. Kind of the classic problem. Is there a way to augment the size of my penis? I'm 18, and assume/hope it will continue to grow. It is not terribly small, but definately not the size it should be. I have read about Rx testosterone creams/pills that could help, I can obtain them, would they work or hurt me? I plan on trying it and would very much appreciate any help. Thank you.

I certainly think that your assumption is right - that at 18 your penis still has some growing to do. What I don't understand is why men (and you can then guess that I am a woman who is answering this!) always think the size of the penis needs to be larger.
Just before this question I answered one from a young woman whose boyfriend hurts her because his penis slams so far into her when they have intercourse. He isn't even very large and she finds it hurts her.
As a woman and from hearing from many other young women, as well as men, it isn't the size of the penis that counts. You may want a larger penis to make you feel better (body image wise) but in the scheme of things does that really matter? Every man has a different size penis. Who decides what size it should be?
If you want to enjoy a sexual relationship, then the size of your penis won't really matter. You will get pleasure from sex regardless of the size and the key to a partner enjoying sex is not in the size but in the finding out how to touch and where to touch that causes the partner pleasure. There is no one way to enjoy sex and certainly finding out together how many ways to stimulate each other is what really makes sex enjoyable. There is a new book out by Kim Catrell the Sex In the City (HBO) star and her boyfriend. They talk about the things that really make sex good - and size is not one of them!
I do not think the creams and pills that are advertised to increase size work. I think they just get people who are nervous about their size to buy them and then the company makes money. Your money would be better spent on some good books that talk about how to enjoy "love making"!Reviewed by: Patricia Fawver Ph.D. in Sexology
