Question:
Question: I found a site "www.penis.com". There I read that I could enlarge the dimensions of my penis only by making some exercises with my hands. This exercises would enlarge "Corpora Cavernosa". I would like to know if this thing is possible.

To tell you the truth, I would like to know as well. I have asked several men to please let me know whether the exercises have had good results or not. I have not had any feedback to date. The "corpora cavernosa" are two main structures in the penis. They consist of a certain type of muscle cells ("smooth muscle cells" in contrast to "striated muscle cells" which make up your muscles in arms, legs, fingers, etc. and "cardiac muscle cells" which are found in the heart). During an erection the smooth muscle cells in these cavernous bodies relax and allow more blood to fill the caverns, thereby filling up and enlarging the penis. It becomes stiff because the blood is trapped in it. I guess if these smooth muscle cells were enlarged through exercise this would add to the dimensions of the penis. But I have not read about any studies that have shown a positive effect of these exercises, and I have not heard from anyone telling me about positive effects. If you like, give it a try and let me know what happens! Sincerely, Annette Owens, MD PhD
