Question:
My bestfriend was curious about my boyfriend's penis size (to compare to her bf's). First of all, I had no idea. So, I asked him and he said about 5 inches. I'm curious about how big is a "big penis" and how small a "small penis" is. Is my boyfriend's big or small? I have no concept of size.

Actually penis size can be measured in several ways. Most males (and some females like your best friend) are interested in how long a penis is. The other way size is measured is how thick it gets when a male has an erection. The reason I tell you about the two different ways to measure size, is that length is not always a good measurement when considering it for pleasure in intercourse. Most males have a penis length of approximately 5-5.5 inches when erect. Some are longer, some shorter. For intercourse, the vagina is only about 4 inches, so having a long penis can sometimes be a problem because during the thrusting action of intercourse the longer penis hits the cervix (bottom of uterus)and creates discomfort if a woman is laying on her back.
I know that people like to compare penis size but it doesn't mean much. It is really the way the couple communicates to one another and how they learn together what feels good and creates pleasure. Some women prefer a thicker (when erect) penis (rather than longer) because it creates a different type of pleasure. Others will find it really doesn't matter.
