Question:
The problem of impotence may be a common one, but my situation may be unusual. I am 35 years old and, due to lack of success with the ladies, have never had sex. I think it must be very unusual for someone to get to my age and still be a virgin. I have recently got married, but my lack of experience is a big problem as we seem to have failure in getting a sex life. I can't get or stay erect long enough. When I do get erect, putting on a condom rapidly sees the end of that. Also of course she is not much more experienced than I. All the advice sites talk about 'restoring' a sex life. How about getting one in the first place??

I understand your problem. Discuss this with your family doctor and ask him to refer you to a sex therapist in your area.
