Question:
I have been dating my bf for a year and we are very much in love. We have decided we want to have oral sex but he isnt circumsized. I have heard that guys who arent circumsized dont get any pleasure from oral sex. Is this true? Also what can I do so he gets pleasure if it is true?

Hi,

I think you will find that this is not a problem for you. Men who are not circumsized can still get sexual pleasure from oral sex. In fact, it may be that men who are uncircumsized are more sensitive because the head of the penis is not exposed to as much physical contact day in and day out (since the foreskin covers it).

Of course, there are always individual differences in the amount that ANY sexual practice is enjoyable. There are men, both circumsized and not, who just don't find oral sex all that great for them. That's ok--there's plenty of other things to do together, right?!

By doing a quick Google search, I found this web page that lists a number of sites that offer tips and techniques for oral sex. Oral sex, like all things sexual, is a skill that one can develop. However, most people find that it's pretty enjoyable no matter how "unskilled" the other person is, so you shouldn't worry too much about it! I'm sure you'll have a lot of fun.

Also, be sure to be safe if your partner has had other sex partners. Having oral sex does not prevent the transmission of STDs, so you may decide you want to use a condom if you're not sure.

Best,

Blaise
