Question:
Dear Dr. Kat, Recently I have bought a penis ring. It's designed to stimulate woman with "pearls" around the ring. It doesn't strenghten erection, but it does squeeze the penis a bit so even after ejaculation his head is bigger and more full of blood than normally. Can using of this ring lead to some kind of penis dysfunction?

Thank you for your question. As long as you are using the ring according to its intended use, you should not experience any sexual dysfunction as a result of its use. However, be sure to pay attention to how the ring feels on and if there is any discomfort whatsoever, discontinue using it. I also suggest not wearing the ring for more than 20-30 minutes at a time. You should not restrict blood flow to any part of the body for extended periods of time.
