“A long time” is, of course, relative to your age & experience. Since you are a young adult, I’ll assume that boredom from years of using the same position(s) for sexual intercourse isn’t the issue. You (not your partner nor the 2 of you) are the one wanting to try new things so I’ll give you the best advice & websites for a young woman wanting to learn more about sexual variety. First, be sure you understand the differences in male & female sexual response. Males, especially while young, usually become aroused - & orgasm - much more quickly than females. However, once a female is sexually excited, she can become a sort of sexual athlete in that multiple orgasms are possible. Inexperienced couples often think something is “wrong” because they don’t have the same level of desire as during the honeymoon stage of their sex life, or that he “cums too quickly,” or that she can’t orgasm with intercourse alone. If you need more information on rapid or premature ejaculation, as it is sometimes called, check out the article on our website. Our website is part of The Sex Education Web Circle - select web sites which offer accurate, sex-positive internet sex education. I suggest you check out an article that focuses on the difference between techniques & pleasure called “A Sex-Positive Primer.” After that, the sexual intercourse positions mentioned in the Alt.sex frequently asked questions would be useful. Just click on the Better Intercourse - Positions and potentials link to avoid having to scroll all the way down to the exact info. Let us know if we can be of help in the future!
