Question:
I just had a question on pregnancy. Last night I had sex with my girlfriend, without a condom. I took out my penis before I ejaculated, but I am still very concern about her getting pregnant. Can you please tell me what are the symptoms of pregnancy and how can I prevent that now. Thank you, hope to hear from you soon. Bye

Some signs that indicate that your girlfriend might be pregnant include: 1. "morning sickness" - feelings of nausea or vomiting, usually first thing in the morning and for no apparent reason 2. the need to use the bathroom a lot 3. tender and swollen breasts 4. missed periods or having a very light short period 5. mood and appetite changes 6. wet spots/discharge in her underwear Know that while these signs might be true for many pregnant women, pregnancy signs differ from woman to woman. So some may have all of these signs while others may have none of them. Also, many women have these same symptoms before they get their period. To find out for sure, your girlfriend should take a pregnancy test. To avoid such stressful, pregnancy scare situations in the future, it's definitely worth it to consider using a condom, which can be up to 99% effective. The withdrawal method you and your girlfriend are currently using has an effectiveness of only 77% and is not effective against STDs and HIV. Thank you for visiting the Sexual Health Network.
