Question:
Hi.I've been with my girlfriend for 3 months now and we have had intercourse many times. She has been on the pill for a while now. The last time we had intercourse, I didn't use a condom. However, I have not come at all inside or out of her vagina.
a - is there a possibility that she can be pregnant if i didnt even come (neither inside or out)?
b - can she get pregnant if she weren't on the pill, where i didnt use a condom and where I didnt even come (both inside and out her vagina)?

Birth control pills are 99.7% effective if taken consistently and correctly. What this means is that if a woman remembers to take her pills every day, approximately the same time every day, the likelihood of becoming pregnant is slim to none. If a woman forgets even one pill each month, the chances of pregnancy will increase. The more missed pills, the more a woman could conceive on the pill. If a woman is not on the pill and her partner withdraws the penis without ejaculation (orgasm), the risk is much higher because when the penis is erect, drops of fluid (pre-ejaculate or pre-cum) can carry sperm that remain in the man's urethra from previous ejaculations, and this can cause pregnancy. Often, this method fails because the man may not withdraw in time. The failure rate of withdrawal, if practiced correctly are still 4 percent. Approximately 24 out of 100 women will become preganant after a year of practicing this method. Again, the pill is very effective if taken consistently and correctly, so you may want to continue with this method for now if it seems to be working for you as a couple.Reviewed by: Kathleen VanKirk DHS
