Question:
I have recently noticed that may semen color has changed. It has a yellowish tint to it now. Is this something I should be concerned about?

How peculiar. With so little to go on, I could only hazard a guess. I feel it could be one of two things. Either it's something you have recently eaten, or drank or even taken (like drugs or medication, though the medication you describe below are not known for that. In which case the discoloration will quickly go away, and there is no cause for concern. It may even be caused by something you are allergic to. On the other hand, you could be developing an infection. In which case it may be wise to take a sample along in a clean jar (a sterile plastic container is ideal if you can get your hands on one) for the doctor to send to the lab for testing. There may be questions the doc may ask like if there is any odor, if you have had any aches or pains, fever or chills, if you are prone to any urinary tract infections, and he may ask about sexual partners. If your doctor is concerned that you may be at risk (or have) an STD, he will also take an STD screen, for such things as , Chlamidia, Hepatitis A, B & C, AIDS and Venereal Diseases such as Gonorrhea and Syphillis. It could be as simple as a urinary tract infection, easy fixed with a course of antibiotics, or something more serious. So go along to your doctor if the discoloration doesn't clear up in a day or so, or you develop other symptoms indicative of infection. Good Luck.
