Question:
Hi there, Sometimes after sex I get very painful testicles and a pain above my penis on the inside (below the stomach). The actual penis doesn't hurt. This happens about 1 in 10 times I have sex and seems to be linked with need to 'sit' on the toilet but when I do I find I'm constapated. The pain is enough that I'd walk with my legs more apart than usual and the pain lasts about 1-2 hrs. This has only happened 3 times but is very worrying. please give me some direction etc and if you need any more info i'd be more than happy to answer them. Thanks

I'm going to give you an answer but I hope that you will also come back to the site and ask some of the other experts on the list. This is not my area of expertise, though I have some information that may be helpful. Since it is not something that happens every time you may want to see what other commonalities there are to the situation where it does occur. I suspect that it may be related either to needing to defecate feces before you actually have an orgasm, which is why the constipation and pain seems to follow orgasm. The entire urinary and solid waste system is very closely tied into the genital/sexual response and many people feel the need to urinate or defecate during orgasm or sexual arousal. In fect those pains are often experienced by people who have a full bladder. Since some of the pain is below the penis and above the stomach that is where both the bladder and the intestines are in the system. You might make sure that you have cleared your bowels and bladder to see if that helps! BE sure to ask this question of others on the list as well.
