Question:
If a man was to ejaculate in a condom containing nonoxynol 9 and still laid in the woman for approx. 10 minutes, the condom came off and spilled inside of her, can she become pregnant? Does that nonoxynol 9 kill off all the sperm--if so after how long does it kill it? Thanks for your help.

Yes, the woman could become pregnant. N-9 contributes to "safer" sex, not 100% guaranteed safe contraceptive sex. When you use a condom for safe sex or birth control purposes, you need to carefully pull out, holding the condom in place with your fingers ...and you need to do this more or less immediately after ejaculation, or you run the risk of the situation you described happening again. Sincerely, Dr. Joy Davidson
