The sexual scenario you describe is premature ejaculation - a condition during which a man ejaculates faster than he wants to. It is one of the most common male sexual dysfunctions, and is mostly psychological in nature - most commonly due to anxiety.
To overcome premature ejaculation, you should see a sex therapist. It would be most helpful if your wife could go to sessions with you as well. Until you are able to visit with a sex therapist, try using a condom during sex. A condom dulls the senses of your penis so that you can delay ejaculation - at least for a little longer. You may also want to try masturbating before having sex with your wife. Give yourself a little time to "recharge" before engaging in sex play with her. Having released yourself once, you will be able to hold off a little longer during sexual intercourse and concentrate on her pleasures.
Also, to further avoid early ejaculation, try performing the Squeeze Technique. As you near the point of ejaculatory ievitability, that point when you feel that you can't stop your orgasm, you or your wife should squeeze and apply pressure on your penis using your thumb and one or two of your forefingers, either at the base of your penis or at the ridge under the head.
