I have my period 3weeks at a time.

Answer: by Sandra Welner: (05/23/2004)
It is hard to answer you because it is not really clear what your bleeding
pattern is, bleeding for three weeks straight or bleeding once every three
weeks. Either way, this is not a normal menstrual patterns, as you know. It
is usually a sign of hormonal imbalance or something else, which needs to be
checked out by a gynecologist. If you are menopausal, you also need to be
checked out by a gynecologist to make sure there is nothing serious causing
this bleeding. Gynecologists are very familiar with what tests to do for
people with unusual bleeding problems. See if you can make an appointment
with one to check this out for you.
