Question:
During intercourse, I find it almost impossible to reach orgasm without actually doing it myself. I've been with my partner for almost a year now, and we've tried just about everything, but still sex usually ends with me having to finish myself off alone. I'm circumcised, and wonder if perhaps this has something to do with it. Do you have any advice to me as to how I might reach orgasm without taking things into my own hands, and without taking all night.

I'm afraid that based on the limited information provided in your question, it's hard to even speculate what's going on. There could be any number of physiological and psychological reasons for your condition. This is not something that can be solved through a simple Q&A website. You need to be examined by both a physician and sex therapist to determine what has become a problem for you. Only after taking a thorough sexual history and physical exam, can a health professional give you a better clue as to what may be going on, e.g., retrograde ejaculation, issues with being sexually active, performance pressure, etc... Best, Yvonne K. Fulbright
