without a physical examination and a detailed sexual history, it is not possible to determine what causes occasional bleeding during sex. The common causes are an infection of the cervix (mouth of the uterus) or hymenal tears or 'rough sex'. Any sexually active woman experiencing bleeding after intercourse need to be examined for the causes. Please visit a gynecologist.
